Gisele Bündchen has revealed nine life-changing ingredients that “nourish” her body and help her stay healthy and youthful. The supermodel spoke in detail about her “favorite herbs and spices” that help her stay in a great mood.

“I truly believe in the ancient saying, ‘Let food be your medicine,’ as I felt a big difference in my life when I started making better food choices,” Bündchen explained. In particular, Gisele uses ginger to "aid digestion" and for its "anti-inflammatory" properties, as well as parsley, which she says "contains antioxidants and promotes good breathing."

She loves rosemary also because it “boosts” her immune system and helps her “improve digestion.”

Turmeric is another one of her favorite ingredients because of its anti-inflammatory properties, while basil is “healthy for the heart” and is also an “antioxidant” and “antibacterial,” and black pepper “helps absorb nutrients.”

Gisele loves cilantro for its "detoxifying" and ability to "lower blood sugar," and praises oregano for its "antimicrobial" and "antioxidant properties." 

Bündchen concluded her list of ingredients by extolling the virtues of cinnamon for its ability to “improve blood circulation.” “When we eat live foods (rather than processed ones), the nutrients and vitamins they contain nourish our bodies, helping us stay healthy and feel good.”
