African daisies are beautiful and unpretentious flowers that will decorate both your balcony and garden. In addition, African daisies are perennials; so, you can enjoy these beautiful flowers the next year after planting them.

They do not require special care if grown in an environment that is comfortable for them. African daisies love the sun and prefer soil. And here are some recommendations for caring for African daisies:

Light

African daisies bloom best in full sun. They can be planted in partial shade, but flowering in this case will not be as abundant. These flowers usually open during the day and close at night and in cloudy weather.

Planting and soil

African daisies prefer organically rich, well-drained soil with a slightly acidic soil pH. You can add compost or other organic matter to the soil at planting time to improve drainage and add nutrients.

Plant them at least 30cm apart to give them room to spread, as some varieties can stretch to around 30cm wide. African daisies are best planted in the spring, after the last frost.
