Her brother, Rob Kardashian, who rarely appears in public, appeared in an Instagram post celebrating Khloe's 40th birthday. Of all his sisters, Rob, 37, is especially close to Khloe, who calls herself the “third parent” to his seven-year-old daughter, Dream.

Footage from the birthday party showed Khloe being presented with a birthday cake as guests sang “Happy Birthday to you,” including a beaming Rob.

Kim Kardashian also congratulated her younger sister. “Welcome to the damn 40 club, baby!!!!! I feel like you've been waiting years to finally get over your 30th birthday and now the time has come. I know this will be the best decade of your life, filled with love and happiness! I'm so excited for you to experience this because I know how great it is and no one deserves it more than you!
