While Tiffany & Co. is best known for its diamond jewelry, but the brand also produces a line of fine home goods. As the latest addition to its “Time Objects” collection, the brand has released the Tiffany Airways mechanical watch.
Crafted from stainless steel painted Tiffany Blue, the 3kg Airways watch is modeled after 1930s airplanes.
Two steel discs in the nose of the plane rotate to display the hours and minutes, powered by mechanics located in the plane’s engine, while a hand in the cockpit indicates the current time.
The Airways watch also features the “TCO” monogram on the wing, functioning wheels, and a propeller that can be turned by hand.
The Tiffany Airways mechanical watch is priced at $42,000.
