Donatella Versace has given fans a glimpse of her unrecognisable new appearance in a stunning new social media snap, Daily Mail writes.

The iconic Italian designer, 70, has sparked a string of speculation over the years about her changing appearance, despite only publicly admitting she's had Botox.

Showing off her svelte physique, Donatella posed up a storm in the white sequinned gown with her fresh-faced complexion on full display.

The fashion mogul's top lip appeared noticeably thinner, while her cheeks were also less puffy than in previous snaps.

Donatella shocked fans when she debuted a brand new look while posing for pictures at the The Devil Wears Prada musical launch last year.

She was joined by friend Sir Elton John, who wrote the music for the show, which is centered around the 2006 comedy drama originally starring Anne Hathaway. 

The businesswoman also posed with Anna Wintour, whom the musical is thought to be about, and actress Vanessa Williams. 

The Italian fashion designer stunned on the red carpet in a sheer, heavily embellished bronze mini dress with a black sweetheart neckline bodysuit underneath. 

Donatella paired her sheer dress with knee-high brown leather platform boots.
