The long-awaited collaboration between Apple and Issey Miyake has finally arrived. The iPhone Pocket is a rectangular, 3D-knitted holder designed to carry your iPhone and other everyday essentials.
Inspired by the “piece of fabric” concept, the accessory features Miyake’s signature pleated open structure, reminiscent of the iconic Pleats Please line. Made in Japan, it serves as an extra pocket for your iPhone while also accommodating small items. Its open texture allows a partial view of the screen and bag contents.

The collection comes in two styles: a short strap for wrist or bag attachment, and a long strap for crossbody or shoulder wear. The short strap is available in eight colors, while the long strap comes in three.
“The iPhone Pocket design reflects a special bond between the user and iPhone, while highlighting the product’s versatility and aesthetic appeal,” said Yoshiyuki Miyamae, Creative Director of MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO.

“Apple and Issey Miyake combine craftsmanship, simplicity, and the joy of design. This accessory is a perfect example of our collaboration and an ideal complement to our products,” added Molly Anderson, Apple’s VP of Industrial Design.

The iPhone Pocket will be available starting November 14 at select Apple stores and on Apple’s official website, priced at $149.95 for the short strap and $229.95 for the long strap.
