However, internet users were drawn not only to the players' success but also to the politician's incredibly bold outfit choice while supporting the team. After photos of Cuevas instantly went viral, she had to personally address the raging online debate surrounding her ample bust. "Well, guys, what can I do? I can't just cut them off," Cuevas said, as quoted by The Sun. "I don't take it as an insult. Sandra Cuevas previously governed Cuauhtémoc—one of the key and most densely populated districts of Mexico City—from October 2021 to March 2024.

According to media reports, Cuevas currently serves as a coordinator for the "Mexico Nuevo" (New Mexico) political movement.
