Tori Spelling recently started Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for perimenopause and is already fully gearing up for one of its side effects.

"I was told my sex drive is going to go through the roof!" the 53-year-old Beverly Hills, 90210 star confessed on the Inside of You podcast.

Although Spelling emphasized that she is a "relationship girl" and doesn't do casual flings, she noted that in the future, with the help of hormones, it might well become a possibility.

Depending on the combination of estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone, HRT can boost libido, improve blood flow to the pelvic organs, eliminate vaginal dryness, and regulate energy levels and mood. While women can indeed experience a noticeable surge in sex drive, the potential risks of the therapy include blood clots, strokes, breast cancer, and gallbladder disease.

The daughter of the famous TV producer Aaron Spelling also opened up about her interest in "mental sex" with a smart man. For her, it is crucial to feel challenged and receive "intellectual stimulation." At the same time, Tori absolutely cannot stand basic "dad jokes" and admits that the prospect of "sitting at dinner having small talk" completely exhausts her.

"Nobody asks me out," she admitted. "I always worried about that. I thought, if I ever get divorced, no one will date me because I have five kids."

"Right now, I'm so focused on work and the kids that... I don't know. I'm definitely not in a dating headspace right now," she added.
