Mason Haines, who spent years working as a bodyguard for the Kardashian family, has died following a car accident. He was 52 years old.
News of his death was shared through a GoFundMe page created to support his family. According to the fundraiser, Haines was killed on July 4, just two days before his 53rd birthday.
Throughout his career in executive protection, Haines worked with a number of high-profile celebrities. Among his earliest clients were Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Kanye West. He later provided security for Kevin Hart, Nicki Minaj, Charlie Puth, and seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton.
The Kardashian family remained a significant part of his career. Haines was a member of Kim Kardashian's security team during the infamous 2016 armed robbery in Paris, though he later declined to discuss the details of the incident publicly.
His employer, Trojan Security UK, paid tribute to Haines, calling him "a true legend" in the executive protection industry. The company also shared an archival photo of him with Kris Jenner, saying his life had been cut tragically short.
Friends and colleagues remember Haines not only as an outstanding security professional but also as a man with a generous heart. According to the GoFundMe organizers, he was a mentor, a protector, and someone who had a remarkable ability to bring people together.
Haines is survived by his wife, Faye, their daughter, Brooke, and their son, Noah. Funds raised through the campaign will help cover funeral expenses and support the family during this difficult time.
