Ahead of her 57th birthday, Jennifer Lopez opened up about what she believes truly makes a man attractive - and according to the superstar, it has nothing to do with luxury watches, sports cars, or private jets, People reports.

While speaking onstage at Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda in Taormina, Sicily, the 56-year-old singer playfully bantered with her dancers before launching into an impromptu reflection on independence and relationships.

"Fix my hair. The rest of you can leave. You don't have any money. I don't need your money. I don't need your gifts," Lopez joked with a smile.

She then addressed the long-standing perception that she's a woman with expensive tastes.

"People have looked at me for years and thought I was very high maintenance. And I am. But I have my own money. Ladies, am I right? We don't need someone to buy us things. Although, every now and then, it's nice," she said.

Lopez went on to explain what she actually finds attractive in a partner.

"You know what really makes a man sexy? It's not the watch, the car, or the private jet. It's when he makes the bed in the morning or washes the dishes because you're tired. That's sexy. That's what I call sexy. Because we women do everything," the singer said, drawing loud applause from the audience.

Her comments come amid years of public fascination with Lopez's love life. The global star has been married four times and has had several high-profile relationships and engagements, including romances with Ben Affleck and Alex Rodriguez.
