YEREVAN. – There is a struggle in The Promise, the movie about Armenian Genocide, which I attach great importance to. Sharm Holding General Director Karen Ghazaryan told reporters the aforesaid before this film’s closed screening in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan on Monday, the 102nd commemoration day anniversary of the genocide.
Numerous Armenian celebrities as well as guests are attending the closed screening of The Promise.
A closed screening—with Armenian voiceover—of this movie was held in Yerevan on Sunday, too. President Serzh Sargsyan, First Lady Rita Sargsyan, several senior officials, and the Catholicos of All Armenians attended this event on Sunday.
The Promise has hit the screens worldwide on April 21. Its Armenia premier is slated for Thursday. The Promise has been at the focus of world movie lovers, for the past several months.
