Robin Wright will reprise her role as Claire Underwood in House of Cards - this time as the president of the United States - in a teaser for the show's sixth season.
This season will mark the first without Kevin Spacey after the actor's exodus from the Netflix series amid multiple allegations of sexual harassment and assault.
In the clip, Wright dons a blue dress and stares directly into the camera before saying, 'Happy Independence Day … to me,' hearkening her character as the commander-in-chief, with the hashtag #MyTurn
In the show's storyline, Claire replaced Spacey’s character Frank Underwood as the president at the conclusion of the program's fifth season, as he had a scheme to hold on to his power.
But production on the political drama was suspended, and Spacey was fired early last November amid more than a dozen men stepping forward to accuse the Oscar-winning actor of sexual misconduct.
