The Hermès Birkin bag has become a cultural phenomenon. Since its creation in 1984, this bag has become an ultra-status symbol for the rich and famous.
Due to its popularity, this bag has become a piece of cultural art; just think of Mason Rothschild's MetaBirkin NFT. Now artist Trevor Gorgi joins in on the fun with his huge Birkin bag.
But instead of just creating a regular, run-of-the-mill Birkin, the founder of Fugazi scaled it up to incredible proportions. Although you can carry the bag with very large straps, it can be quite difficult due to its size. So, if you get tired, you can just lie down directly on this bag.
The bag features the French luxury house's signature orange color and features standout metal Birkin hardware and a flap flap.
Instead of the inscription “Hermès Paris Made in France,” however, this bag says “Trévor Gorji Made in China” in gold letters. The bag took almost two years to create; and to show it off, Gorgi took to the streets of New York and posted several photos with it on Instagram.
