Serena Williams, a 37-year-old tennis player, and wife of American millionaire Alexis Ohanian gave a candid interview appearing in interesting looks.
Exemplifying our inextricable link to Africa, Williams’ face is half-painted by famed Nigerian-born, Brooklyn-based artist Laolu Senbanjo and captured by photographer Kwaku Alston for the September cover and feature story, titled “The Future of Serena Williams.”
Serena spoke out for body-positive, whose popularity has been growing in recent years. Many stars abandoned years of diets and torment in the gym and said that they love their body for what it is, The Root reported.

“We want to be inclusive. We have an extended size, and we call it great because I don’t like the word ‘plus,’” Williams told Essence. “So we call it S Great because every woman is great.”
Williams also expressed confidence that a woman should not be complex and feel unhappy because of her appearance or weight.
