American actress Cameron Diaz and her musician husband, Benji Madden, have been trying to become parents for five years, and finally their long-awaited daughter was born.

But for the past five years, Diaz has had to put her Hollywood career on hold because of medical treatment, and her husband has supported her.

The Hollywood actress has done everything possible to get pregnant, Mirror reports. As a result, the couple decided to apply for artificial insemination.

Diaz and Madden wrote on Instagram that they are happy and thankful that you are embracing their daughter Radix for a new decade.

"We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter," Diaz wrote on Instagram. "She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family."
