Princess Beatrice, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a surprise secret ceremony in Windsor today after having to postpone her wedding due to the coronavirus pandemic. It was assumed that her wedding ceremony would be held next year.
There were fewer guests than required for royal traditions, but a little more than expected. Among the attendees were Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, as well as celebrity couple Ellie Goulding and James Blunt.
Presses report that Beatrice, 31, and her 37-year-old spouse Eduardo Mapeli Mozi, who were supposed to get married in London, tied the knot at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge.
