Canadian singer The Weeknd has won the Video of the Year award at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards for the music video of his song "Blinding Lights," MTV informed on its official website.
With the same work, the artist also received the award for Best R&B song.
Lady Gaga became the winner of the Artist of the Year award.
She and Ariana Grande also received awards for Best Collaboration and Best Cinematography for their song "Rain On Me."
In addition, Ariana Grande, along with Justin Bieber, received the award for Best Music Video From Home for the music video of their song “Stuck with U;” this award was created in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
