The two famous members of Armenian-American rock band System of a Down- Shavo Odadjian and John Dolmayan, carried out a new campaign. Yesterday on October 27th they met with fans in Glendale, California, and signed T-shirts that were sold on the spot.
Hundreds of American-Armenians as well as many foreigners took part in this fundraiser, which proceeds will be donated to the Hayastan All Armenian Fund.
Soon after this event Shavo Odadjian wrote a post on Facebook thanking his fans for the support.
“Thanks to everyone who was able to come join us yesterday. We had such a great time with you all. The love, spirit and unity I felt was indescribable. If you weren’t able to make it, you can still pick up a shirt at silenceisgenocide.com”.
He also used #silenceisgenocide, #artsakhstrong and #peaceforarmenians hashtags.
