The brands Alexander McQueen and Balenciaga, which belong to the Kering conglomerate, have abandoned the use of natural fur in the production of collections. They will switch to vegan counterparts of the material. The list of brands that have already abandoned the use of natural fur are Prada, Burberry, Chanel, and others.
Gucci, also owned by Kering, announced it was phasing out fur in 2017, and Bottega Veneta hasn't used it for 20 years. Saint Laurent and Brioni are the only Kering brands that have yet to join a fur-free policy.
