“The Queen’s Gambit” star Anya Taylor-Joy is trying her luck at the game of love with actor Malcolm McRae, Page Six reported.
Taylor-Joy, 25, and McRae, 27, were seen holding hands and exchanging several kisses while strolling the streets of New York City Monday.
While McRae’s IMDB page boasts two credits for shorts released in 2008 and 2020, Golden Globe-winning Taylor-Joy shot to stardom thanks to her role in “The Queen’s Gambit,” which is centered on a chess prodigy battling addiction in the 1950s and ’60s.
The blonde beauty is in New York to prepare to host the Season 46 finale of “Saturday Night Live” on Saturday, with McRae tagging along for support.
Taylor-Joy was previously linked to photographer Ben Seed and actor Eoin Macken, though she never publicly confirmed that she was dating either of the men.
She called herself a “quite private person” in a 2018 interview with The Guardian, adding, “There’s a beauty in being anonymous; there’s a reason why we’re actors, we’re playing other people.”
