Art dealer and owner of the Haykoff Gallery in Los Angeles, Bella Haykoff, gave a wide-ranging interview to Artnet News and spoke about her work with Armenian artist Martiros Manoukian, who lives in the United States.
According to the dealer, some of the Armenian artist's paintings were purchased by American actress and model Paris Hilton. "Works by the artist now hang in the Hilton family estate and even made an appearance in some of Paris’s wedding photos," the newspaper writes.
Haykoff said her first art purchase was a work by Martiros Manoukian. "It was a mesmerizing woman’s mixed-media portrait by Martiros Manoukian many years before we started working together. This unique original artwork was valued at $150,000," the dealer said.
