Rapper Kanye West claimed that director Quentin Tarantino stole his idea for the movie "Django Unchained," NME writes.
West claims that he suggested the idea for "Django" to Tarantino and actor Jamie Foxx as the music video for his 2005 hit "Gold Digger." In 2012, Tarantino released the western "Django Unchained," about a freed slave played by Foxx. According to the musician, after talking to Tarantino, the filmmaker turned the idea into a movie.
West's "Gold Digger" music video had nothing to do with slavery, but instead featured pin-up girls posing for fictional magazine covers. "Django Unchained" became one of Tarantino's most successful projects.
