The second season of "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" will be directed exclusively by an all-female team of directors, Deadline writes.
Charlotte Brandstrom, Sanaa Hamri and Louise Hooper will work on the project, and the second season will consist of eight episodes. According to the media, Brandstrom has already been involved in two episodes of the first season, while in the second season she will shoot four episodes of the project. Her colleagues will shoot only two episodes.
The action of "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" takes place in Tolkien's Second Age of Legendarium - a few thousand years before the events of "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings.
