Saudi Arabia aims to beat Dubai by building world's longest infinity pool

19:23, May 13

Saudi Arabia plans to build an impressive infinity pool measuring almost 457m long. This pool plans to be suspended 67m above sea level in the Treyam area of the "city of the future," Neom.

The developers said that it will be the longest in the world.

The design "is a harmonious combination of contemporary design and minimal environmental impact, promising guests unparalleled privacy where they can relax and rejuvenate amidst breathtaking natural scenery."

If completed, the pool will dwarf Dubai's 119m-long pool suspended between the twin skyscrapers, One Zaabeel, which opened in February.

Treyam, located at the southern tip of the Gulf of Aqaba, is one of the newly announced Neom regions. Planners described it as a "superb resort." The developers also say guests will be able to enjoy extensive “health and wellness technology offerings.”

Neom is part of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's Vision 2030, which aims to transform the country into a luxury tourism destination and innovation hub.
