An abstract painting by Bob Dylan, created around 1968, sold for a staggering $200 thousand.
A lucky collector was able to purchase a piece of art created by the legendary musician during his time at Woodstock for a whopping $196,156 at RR Auction. Bidding on the folk music legend's piece started at $66,550 and then reached nearly $200,000.
The 24.5 x 30 piece is described as “a colorful and energetic abstract composition with a large central outline of a bull.”
Dylan had given this painting to Woodstock resident Sandy LePanto in exchange for making an astrological chart for him.
