Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman will star together again in the sequel to the 1998 film Practical Magic. Warner Bros. Studio announced that a sequel to this movie is in development. EW has learned that negotiations are currently underway for Bullock and Kidman to reprise their roles as witch sisters Sally and Jillian Owens.

The actresses will also produce this movie along with producer Denise Di Novi from a script by Akiva Goldsman.

Bullock and Kidman starred in Practical Magic, based on the novel of the same name by writer Alice Hoffman. They played two witches, Sally and Gillian, raised by their eccentric aunts after the death of their parents.

Plot details for this movie's sequel are currently unknown, but Hoffman has written several books in the series. The most recent one, titled The Book of Magic: A Novel, was published in 2021 and featured three generations of Owens women, as well as a long-lost brother.
