Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan had a witty response to a question about nudity while attending a promotional event for the Netflix series.

The 37-year-old actress plays Penelope Featherington in the hit series, which returns for the second part of series three on Wednesday - with the promise of more racy scenes, including a sex scene featuring Nicola. The third series focuses on her tumultuous relationship with Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton).

During a Q&A about the new episodes in Dublin, a female journalist noted that Nicola was "very brave" in playing the role of Penelope Featherington, which some fans felt was a "bad faith comment."

Nicola responded brilliantly. “You know, it's hard because I think that women with my body type - women with perfect breasts - we don't see enough of ourselves on screen! And I am very proud to be a member of the perfect breast community. I hope you enjoy seeing her."
