Almost eight years after losing her husband, René Angélil, Celine Dion still feels his presence in her heart and home.
In an interview with PEOPLE, the renowned Canadian singer said she “constantly receives signs from Angélil.”
“I'm still married to René. He's still my husband. When I go to the doctors, I always take pictures of him with me,” says Dion, recounting the last few years of her life in the new documentary “I: Celine Dion”—streaming worldwide June 25 on Prime Video. “And of course we have pictures all over the house.”
Since being diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) in August 2022, Dion has rarely left her Las Vegas home as she undergoes intensive treatment, including rehabilitation therapy five days a week.
