Hermès has introduced Musc Pallida, the latest addition to its Hermessence collection. Created by Christine Nagel, Hermès’ Creative Director of Perfumes, the scent pays tribute to iris pallida, one of perfumery’s most prized raw materials.

Nagel describes the fragrance as an “olfactory transposition of the saddle stitch,” where powdery iris and soft musks envelop the wearer, creating a scent that is both pure and mesmerizing.

The bottle design mirrors Hermès’ signature craftsmanship. The radiant lantern-shaped bottle glows in shades of orange and gold, echoing the iris’ golden tones, while the cap is wrapped in supple ivory leather with orange saddle stitching.

As part of the Fleur de Peau series within Hermessence, Musc Pallida continues the collection’s exploration of fragrances that foster an intimate connection with the skin, joining previous creations such as Cuir d’Ange, Violette Volynka, and Oud Alezan.

Musc Pallida is available now at Hermès boutiques and the brand’s online store, retailing for $465 USD.
