King Charles III has stopped answering phone calls from his younger son, Prince Harry, for a rather mundane yet shocking reason. Royal expert Kinsey Schofield shared this on TalkTV with host Jeremy Kyle, citing authoritative biographer Robert Jobson.
As it turns out, the monarch simply grew tired of endless and repetitive requests from the Duke of Sussex. "At a certain point, Charles III, while still the Prince of Wales, just stopped picking up the phone. He admitted that Harry's constant financial requests made him feel not like a father, but like a common ATM," Schofield stated.
According to the expert, King Charles III is by no means the first to try and distance himself from Harry and Meghan Markle for his own peace of mind. The late Queen Elizabeth II harbored similar concerns.
Insiders claim that Her Majesty was afraid to be left alone with the Sussexes and deliberately asked aides or friends to be present at meetings—or to remain on speakerphone during calls—as witnesses. She feared covert recordings and leaks of confidential conversations to the press, and sought to protect herself from sudden and awkward financial claims from her grandson.
Furthermore, it is rumored behind the scenes that Queen Camilla has also taken a hard line and now categorically forbids King Charles III from being left in a room alone with Harry without witnesses.
These revelations have surfaced amidst preparations for the Sussexes' upcoming visit to the UK, which is planned for the end of this month. Meghan Markle is expected to join her husband to officially kick off the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games. However, the family reunion is on the verge of collapsing.
Prince Harry had planned to bring his entire family to London, including seven-year-old Archie and five-year-old Lilibet. However, after the UK government definitively denied him taxpayer-funded state security, the Prince is seriously considering canceling the children's trip.
While the Sussexes weigh the pros and cons, King Charles III pointedly hosted a secret family dinner in Scotland, to which Harry and Meghan, of course, were not invited.
Experts agree on one thing: the couple desperately wants to show the American public that they are still warmly received back home, but the reality inside the palace says otherwise.
