YEREVAN. – The first screening of The Dead Forest, which is the first Armenian horror movie, will be held Friday in capital city Yerevan. “The Dead Forest was filmed in the reality-horror genre. For the most part, we chose inexperienced actors who have not been filmed anywhere.
This is an experiment to a certain extent, since a horror movie is filmed in Armenia for the first time,” film’s screenplay writer Harutyun Ghukasyan said. The names and locations mentioned in the movie are changed.Armenian rock band The Beautified Project performs the soundtrack of the film. “The song definitely will have a [music] video, and interesting surprises will await the audience at the premiere of the film,” the band’s frontman Andre Simonian noted.
