Armenia will submit Edgar Baghdasaryan’s “Erken Kisher” (Lengthy Night) for the 92nd Academy Awards for the Best International Feature Film, the Armenian National Film Academy reported.
Edgar Baghdasaryan’s video was the best at the Anahit National Award ceremony. The film was recognized as the winner in five categories: Best sound engineer, Best Artist, Best Script Writer, Best Operator, Best Director.
Earlier, in an interview with the NEWS.am STYLE correspondent, the film's director Edgar Baghdasaryan said that the film takes place in three time dimensions: in our days, in the Narekatsi era, the 1915 genocide. The story ends with a strange drama of a married couple, which a street prostitute closes in a triangle.
The 92nd Oscar will be held on February 9.
