Brazilian writer Paulo Coelho deleted a draft of a children's book he worked with famous basketball player Kobe Bryant, who was killed in a helicopter crash on January 26, AP reported.
Coelho’s ‘Alchemist’ was Bryant's favorite book. They got the idea to write a book together back in 2016.
"You were more than a great player, dear Kobe Bryant. I learned a lot by interacting with you. Will delete the draft right now, this book has lost its reason," Coelho wrote on his Instagram sharing the screenshot of his conversation with Kobe Bryant.

By the way, Bryant has co-authored with various writers on sports books. The most famous of them is the 'The Wizenard' series, one of the main characters of which is Rain. Kobe reportedly linked himself to him.
