American actor John Malkovich was not allowed into a hotel because of an invalid COVID certificate, ANSA reported.
It is noted that the Hotel Danieli overlooking the central square of St. Mark in Venice did not let in the 68-year-old actor and director, who for two days was in the city for filming the TV series Ripley.
The reason was Malkovich's COVID certificate expired last week.
According to local media, Malkovich was forced to spend the night at a private residence nearby.
