16:34, January 22

Japanese genius and Pritzker Prize-winning architect Tadao Ando, in collaboration with developer Arada, will build Armani Beach Residences on the Palm Jumeirah island in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The complex includes 53 residences with two to five bedrooms, as well as penthouses and two presidential suites.

Prices start from AED 21 million ($5.7 million) for two-bedroom residences, from AED 32 million ($8.7 million) for three-bedroom residences, from AED 51 million ($14 million) for residences with four bedrooms, while five-bedroom residences start from AED 60 million ($16.3 million). Prices for the exclusive penthouses and presidential suites have not been disclosed, but are expected to be sky-high.

The largest presidential suite measures 43,830 square feet, while the smallest two-bedroom apartment measures 2,657 square feet. The interior design is, of course, from Armani/Casa.

According to The National, luxury amenities include a residents' spa, multi-purpose event room, cigar lounge, compact cinema, children's playroom and landscaped terrace, as well as a private beach.

“The apartments are some of the largest you will see on The Palm. They are in the top 5 percent,” Rosa Piro, senior director of business development at Arada, told The National.

Taking pride of place at the top of the building, two presidential suites boast a courtyard, swimming pool, gym, library, private cinema, and private parking for at least seven cars.
