Warner Bros. Studio has officially released the first full trailer for Todd Phillips' Joker: Folie à Deux.
The two-and-a-half minute clip features Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as Arthur Fleck/Joker, who is incarcerated in Arkham Asylum after the events of the first movie. He meets Lady Gaga's Harley Quinn, and the two end up gaining some fame as performers with a group of supporters calling for their release. The couple falls in love in the midst of madness, and Fleck tells his doctor that he is "not alone anymore."
The upcoming sequel is being billed as a "jukebox musical" featuring at least 15 covers of "very famous" songs, one of which is "That's Entertainment" from the 1953 musical "The Band Wagon."
Joker: Folie à Deux will hit movie theaters on October 4.
