Eurovision 2017: Participants sing exclusively for Armenian fans

KYIV. – Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine, formally kicked off with Sunday’s red carpet event.


At the red carpet, NEWS.am STYLE also spoke with the contestants, and but it did not “let” them “go” without asking them to sing a portion from their Eurovision songs, for Armenian fans.


Incidentally, Cypriot Armenian singer Hovig (Demirjian), who represents Cyprus at this year’s Eurovision, and NAVIBAND from Belarus performed Armenian songs.


The first semifinal of Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be held on Tuesday, during which Armenia’s representative, Artsvik, also will perform. She will sing her Eurovision song, “Fly with Me,” in 16th place.
