System of a Down bass guitarist Shavo Odadjian criticized the international community for ignoring the Armenian-Azerbaijani crisis, Metal Injection reported.
According to the website, with the support of Turkey, Azerbaijani forces clashed with the Armenian army in September-November, which ended in a ceasefire mediated by the Russian president.
Shavo noted he knows people who have died and that the producer of his new project North Kingsley is now in Armenia because he has lost many friends. He said that he knew people who had left America for Armenia to fight.
Odadjian notes that the country with a population of three million is trying to survive and that the world does not know what to think because of the 'misinformation' sent to the media, the newspaper notes.
By the way, after a 15-year break, System of a Down has released two new songs, which aim to raise awareness.
