HBO and George Martin, the channel's producer, are planning two Game of Thrones prequels at once.

The media learned that the script for one of the prequels will be written by Amanda Segel, Deadline reported.

'10,000 Ships' is expected to feature the journey of Princess Nymeria. She traveled with her surviving Roynar from Essos to Dorn after being defeated in the Second Spice War. The action in the series will unfold about a thousand years before the events described in the cycle of novels by George Martin.

The rest of the show's details, including the cast and release date, have yet to be revealed.
