About four months after Nobu began selling its first branded residences in Abu Dhabi, one of this skyscraper's prestigious penthouses is already breaking records, writes RobbReport.
The yet-to-be-built nest atop Nobu Residences Abu Dhabi has sold for a whopping $37.3 million. Once completed, this ultra-expensive pad will occupy an entire floor of a residential building and will include three bedrooms, a private pool, a personal wellness center and fitness studio, and a spacious terrace with stunning views of Saadiyat Beach.
“This landmark transaction with Nobu Residences not only sets a new standard for residential real estate in Abu Dhabi, but also highlights the maturity of the property market,” said developer Aldar Group CEO Talal Al Dhiebi.
Completion of construction is scheduled for 2027. Homes in this 88-unit tower will range from one- and three-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom lofts, penthouses, and “sky” villas. The starting price for the residences was set at 7 million dirhams—or approximately $1.9 million, and before the aforesaid penthouse sale, a four-bedroom duplex villa was sold for a cool $35.4 million.
As expected of a premium development, residents will have access to a variety of exclusive amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness center, swimming pool, cinema, and community gardens. In addition to this project's residential units, there will be a 125-room Nobu hotel, a Nobu restaurant, and a rooftop bar.
The project is close to the nearly completed Guggenheim Museum, designed by architect Frank Gehry, as well as the Louvre Abu Dhabi, and Saadiyat Grove.
