YEREVAN. – The new music video of Pharrell Williams’ song, “Happy,” was posted on the Internet in early April.
And now, numerous world cities, including Armenia’s capital Yerevan, are shooting their own version of this hit song.
US Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern, famous Armenian showman, comedian, and singer Aram MP3 (Aram Sargsyan)—who will represent Armenia at the Eurovision 2014 Song Contest, and with his song “Not Alone”—, and numerous other famous persons were filmed in the Yerevan music video.
NEWS.am STYLE caught up with the American diplomat, who commented on his participation in the video.
“We want to show that Armenians love Armenia, they love Yerevan, and they are happy in their homeland.
“When the organizers of the video contacted us, I agreed to participate in the project, and I’m happy for it.
“It was wonderful. I also believe that this was very important,” Ambassador Heffern said.
