The NEWS.am STYLE presents an exclusive interview with Russian movie critic Kirill Razlogov, who believes that art is not only a business and may exist independently. Another thing is that movie requires much expenses and the matter is how to realize it.
Razlogov knows some Armenian movies, as he is a jury member of the Golden Apricot Armenian film festival and has to watch all the movies, including the Armenians. The movie critic believes that culture is generally conservative and does not prefer changes. However, there is a very subtle border in culture, which is called an actual art and this one is accepted with some restraint.
As a matter of fact, Razlogov took risks for the professional life as otherwise it is not interesting.
And in addition, the movie critic comes to Armenia each year as his grandfather was an Armenian and he feels life returning to his roots while in Armenia.
